Afternoon Workshops

NAHPS are excited to work with Sarah Macshane and David Pallash from the LEGO group who will be delivering the Hugh Jolly Afternoon Workshops.

These sessions will be free for NAHPS members and £15 for non members.

The LEGO ‘Learning Through Play’ Sessions provide useful activities and tips which can be used for children, young people and their families during their time in healthcare settings as well as enhance teaching sessions for the MDT and students.

Brief session overview:

  • Introduction to Learning Through Play
  • Hands-on, minds-on activities
  • Introduction to Play and Engagement at the LEGO Group
  • Inspire you to engage
  • Have fun!

Places will be limited to reduce the virtual group size for these sessions and to fully engage in these sessions you will need the following Duplo bricks. Please note NAHPS or LEGO will not be providing the bricks needed for the session. To attend, you must book a place and you will be sent a link to the virtual session once your place has been confirmed.


1st Session 20 places max. 2pm-3pm – FULLY BOOKED

2nd Session 20 places Max. 3:30-4:30pm – FULLY BOOKED

Please note that both sessions are the same and therefore, please may we ask that you only book onto one session please. Thank you.

Evening Lecture 6-7pm – FULLY BOOKED
